Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is how the principal's implementation in improving teacher performance at SD Negeri 39 Pulau Tambako, Bombana Regency, aims to determine and produce the implementation of principal supervision to improve teacher performance at SD Negeri 39 Pulau Tambako. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques are: data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the supervision program and instruments in carrying out the supervision of SD Negeri 39 Pulau Tambako were made jointly between the principal and the teachers. The implementation of supervision begins by examining the teacher's learning program. Furthermore, the principal gives a schedule for when he will carry out supervision in carrying out his teaching duties in the classroom. In addition, individual meetings were held between the principal and teachers to discuss the results of supervision. Furthermore, in the meeting the principal provided suggestions and the best solutions to improve and improve the quality of the class teachers concerned.
