Abstract

This type of research is descriptive qualitative, describing and assessing the actual state of the research object. This study involved 14 people: the principal, 5 teachers, and 8 students. This study uses primary and secondary data. In-depth interviews and observational data collection. Each stage of the data analysis process is described below. Source triangulation, technical triangulation, and time triangulation were used to validate the data. The following are the results of the research at SMP Negeri 50 Benua District, South Konawe Regency: Prepare learning media according to the content to be taught; offer free time for students to ask questions or discuss lessons learned. Conduct additional learning outside of study hours for each student who still does not understand the subject matter being taught and explain easy-to-remember steps to overcome a problem in answering the teacher's assignment. A pleasant learning atmosphere can be created by adopting interesting learning methods and media that are appropriate to the topic of the material. Inspire children by praising them, giving them good grades, and rewarding them for their achievements. The teacher's responsibilities as role models include; giving positive examples of discipline, courtesy, and friendliness to students. A manager must treat all students equally, be fair and firm with every student who interferes with the learning process.
