Competence of Administrative Personnel in Improving the Quality of Education Administration

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the competence of administrative staff in improving the quality of education administration in the estate vocational high school 1 samaturu, Samaturu Sub District Kolaka District. This type of research is descriptive which describes and examines the real condition of the object of research based on aunthentic data collected. The research subjects consistedof the principal of the state vocational high school 1 samaturu, 2 administrative staff, 5 teachers and 3 students. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation The results of this study indicate that : competence of administrative staff at the state vocational high school 1 Samaturu, samaturu subdictrict, kolaka district. In carrying.Out there duties is good. Wether it’s personal competence, social competence and competence managerial. Competence but will needs to be improved again regarding technical competence, especially with regard to wok time efficiency this is because the quantity of administrative staff is still lacking In addition, they also double as educators (teachers) this is what causes the quality of performance has not been carried out optimally. As for the efforts made to improve the quality of educational administration, they are trying to do excellent service by doing work outside of working hours (overtime) to complere tska. In sddition, they also prioritize and establish good cooperation by filling in the gaps between co- workers (administrative staff).
