The Principal's Role as an Innovator in Improving Teacher Creativity in the Learning Process Learning

The purpose of this study was to describe the role of the principal as an innovator in increasing teacher creativity in the learning process at SMP Negeri 15 Konawe Selatan. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research, with research informants totaling 12 people consisting of the principal, 6 teachers, and 5 students. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the role of the principal as an innovator in increasing teacher creativity in the learning process at SMP Negeri 15 Konawe Selatan, determined that: a) mobilizing, directing, influencing, encouraging, guiding all school personnel to be able to work together in building and maintaining the school environment. and always carry out routine supervision, b) the principal provides new ideas, in an effort to improve the quality of learning carried out by teachers in the form of variations in using methods and media as well as the ability to solve problems in the classroom.References
