New Student Admission Strategy in the Zoning System

The purpose of this study was to determine and describe the school's strategy in increasing the admission of new students in the application of the zoning system in SMA Negeri 1 Menui. The research method used in this research is to use a qualitative descriptive approach. Meanwhile, the informants or respondents in this study were the principal and 5 teachers and parents as supporting informants. The data collection techniques are through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the school's strategy in increasing the acceptance of new students in the application of the zoning system in SMA Negeri 1 Menui includes several efforts, including efforts to improve branding school or improve the image of the school, pick ball strategy through presenting parents to school or through roles. teachers who go directly to the community and efforts to improve school performance and provide scholarships to new students are strategic steps taken by SMA Negeri 1 Menui in increasing the acceptance of new students in the application of the zoning system in the admission of new students.References
