Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is Can Fine Motor Skills be improved through Mosaic Technique Using Banana Leaves in Group B2 at Assulaimaniyyah Lauru Kindergarten, Rumbia Tengah District, Bombana Regency? The purpose of this study was to improve children's fine motor skills through the mosaic technique using Banana Leaves in children in Group B2 at Assulaimaniyyah Lauru Kindergarten, Rumbia Tengah District, Bombana Regency. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The procedure for implementing this classroom action research consists of two cycles. Each cycle is carried out according to the changes to be achieved as designed in the factors to be investigated. The subjects in this study were 16 students consisting of 8 boys and 8 girls. This research was conducted in January 2024 and March 2024. The success indicator, namely 75%, is said to be complete. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion of the findings of this action research, it can be concluded that the following fine motor skills of children in Group B at Assulaimaniyyah Lauru Kindergarten, Rumbia Tengah District, Bombana Regency can be improved through the Mosaic Technique. This is indicated by the achievement in each cycle. In the initial observation activity, children who achieved classical completion were 4 children with a percentage of 25%, then increased to 11 children with a percentage of 68.75%. Then in cycle II it increased to 14 children with a percentage of 87.5%. At the end of cycle 2 there were still 2 children who had not developed and were returned to their teachers.
