The Role of Teachers in Instilling Discipline Values in Group B Children at Ceria Anawai Kindergarten in North Konawe during the Covid-19 Pandemic

The purpose of this research is to describe the teacher's role in instilling disciplinary values in children. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study concluded that the teacher's role in instilling disciplinary values in children, namely: a) exemplary method, the teacher always provides an example starting from oneself, b) habituation method by getting used to keeping a distance, washing hands after doing activities, wearing masks, line activities -march in the school field in the morning, and answer greetings, c) the didactic method (story) that is telling stories about the Prophet or fairy tales, d) the method of giving advice, the teacher always advises children by using gentle words and giving good directions to children, e) the method of dialogue by establishing communication with children, and the teacher using the demonstration method using image media, f) the method of giving punishment, namely the teacher must have firmness, but firmness does not mean being rude, but firm in making the child is aware of or deterred from the offense he has committed.References
