Teacher competency development by the Principal of the Islamic Kindergarten Mu'adz Bin Jabal Kendari City. This study aims to find out how the teacher competency development by the principal of the Islamic Kindergarten Mu'adz Bin Jabal Kendari City. This research method uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection tools used are interviews, documentation and triangulation. Data analysis techniques used include data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the teacher competency development by the principal at the Mu'adz Bin Jabal Islamic Kindergarten, Kendari City, had been going well. This can be seen from the principal's efforts in carrying out coaching on teacher competence which consists of several programs such as facilitating teachers to actively participate in the KKG, motivating teachers to continue education, classroom supervision and collaborative activities between teachers and parents.References
