Screening Plagiarism
Plagiarism Screening
RELIGI: Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam is committed to maintaining academic integrity and ensuring the originality of all manuscripts submitted for publication. All submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism and other forms of publication misconduct before proceeding to the peer-review process.
The journal uses plagiarism detection software to identify similarities between submitted manuscripts and previously published works, including journal articles, books, conference proceedings, theses, dissertations, and online publications. The screening process aims to detect inappropriate text reuse, unattributed quotations, and other forms of plagiarism.
Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are original, properly cite all sources, and acknowledge the contributions of other researchers. Any use of previously published material must be appropriately cited and, where necessary, accompanied by permission from the copyright holder.
Manuscripts identified as containing potential plagiarism or excessive textual similarity will be carefully evaluated by the editorial team. Depending on the severity and nature of the findings, the manuscript may be returned to the authors for revision, rejected, or subjected to further investigation in accordance with the journal's publication ethics policies.
The similarity report is used as a screening tool and does not, by itself, determine whether plagiarism has occurred. The editorial team considers the context of the similarities, including properly cited quotations, references, commonly used terminology, and other legitimate overlaps.
By submitting a manuscript to RELIGI: Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam, authors confirm that their work complies with the principles of originality, proper attribution, and academic integrity. The journal reserves the right to reject manuscripts that violate its plagiarism policy at any stage of the publication process.
