Peer Review Process

  1. Manuscript Submission

    • Authors submit their manuscripts through the online system on the Proceeding of International Conference on Educational Governance, Policy, and Leadership (ICEGPL) website.
    • Submitted manuscripts will be reviewed by the editor to ensure compliance with the submission guidelines and the conference’s scope.
  2. Initial Screening by the Editor

    • The editor conducts an initial assessment of the manuscript to determine if it aligns with the focus and scope of the proceedings and meets minimum quality standards.
    • Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria may be rejected outright or returned to the authors for revision before the review process continues.
  3. Reviewer Assignment

    • Manuscripts that pass the initial screening will be sent to two or more independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field for a blind review.
    • The identities of both the authors and the reviewers will be concealed from each other (double-blind review) to ensure objectivity and fairness in the evaluation.
  4. Review Process

    • Reviewers will evaluate the manuscript based on criteria such as originality, research quality, methodology, clarity of presentation, and contribution to the field.
    • Reviewers provide recommendations to the editor, which may include acceptance without revisions, acceptance with minor revisions, acceptance with major revisions, or rejection.
  5. Editor’s Decision

    • Based on the reviewers’ assessments and recommendations, the editor will make the final decision regarding the manuscript.
    • This decision will be communicated to the authors, along with the reviewers’ comments to help the authors revise their manuscript if needed.
  6. Manuscript Revision

    • If revisions are required, authors must revise their manuscript according to the reviewers’ feedback and resubmit it within the specified timeframe.
    • The revised manuscript will be reviewed by the editor, and in some cases, it may be sent back to the reviewers for further evaluation.
  7. Final Acceptance and Publication

    • Once the manuscript is accepted, authors must ensure that it meets all the formatting and style requirements set by the proceedings.
    • Accepted manuscripts will be published online in the Proceeding of International Conference on Educational Governance, Policy, and Leadership (ICEGPL) and will be available through the Open Access system.
  8. Publication Ethics

    • Editors and reviewers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of manuscripts and conducting the review process with integrity, avoiding conflicts of interest.
    • Authors are expected to adhere to high standards of research and publication ethics, providing accurate and transparent information in their reports.

This procedure is designed to ensure the quality and integrity of each manuscript published in the Proceeding of International Conference on Educational Governance, Policy, and Leadership (ICEGPL).
