Screening Plagiarism
Journal of Leadership, Management and Policy in Education's Editorial Team emphasizes a zero-tolerance stance on plagiarism, requiring all submissions to be devoid of plagiarized content. Authors are obligated to employ plagiarism detection tools to ensure content originality, with a permissible plagiarism threshold of 20%.
Definition:
Plagiarism is the intentional or unintentional act of seeking credit for a scientific work by quoting, wholly or partially, the work of another without proper acknowledgment.
General Conditions:
Articles must be original, unpublished, and exclusive to Journal of Leadership, Management and Policy in Education. Direct quotations from other sources must be clearly distinguished from the original text. All authors share responsibility for the article's content, evident through their endorsement of the Publication Ethics Declaration Form/Letter of Originality for Journal of Leadership, Management and Policy in Education. Authors are prohibited from submitting the same article to other journals; any violation will result in actions aligned with editorial team policies.
Plagiarism Check:
Upon acceptance, authors must conduct a plagiarism check using Journal of Leadership, Management and Policy in Education's approved software. Results, along with the final revised article, are submitted to the editorial team via OJS.
Plagiarism Levels:
Identified plagiarism prompts the Editor-in-Chief to review and take appropriate action based on the severity:
- Plagiarizing a short sentence without citation: Author receives a warning and is required to rectify the text with proper citation.
- Plagiarizing a substantial portion without citation: The article is rejected for Journal of Leadership, Management and Policy in Education, and the author may face publication restrictions.
Any plagiarism not covered by these guidelines allows the editor to impose sanctions in line with Journal of Leadership, Management and Policy in Education's editorial policies.
