Author Giudelines
Authors submitting manuscripts to the Journal of Leadership, Management, and Policy in Education must adhere to the following guidelines:
- Submission Process: Authors are mandated to use the online submission system provided by the journal. The submission should strictly follow the guidelines specified in the Style Guide, accessible for download in the journal template.
- Originality and Rights: Authors affirm that their submitted article is not published elsewhere, and no rights to the article have been transferred elsewhere.
- Authenticity and Citation: Authors are responsible for the authenticity of their work, adhering to proper citation practices to prevent plagiarism or self-plagiarism.
- Authorship Criteria: Adherence to the authorship criteria outlined in the Journal's instructions for authors is crucial. Authorship should be attributed to those who significantly contributed to the conception, design, implementation, or interpretation of the study.
- Multiple Submissions: Authors are prohibited from submitting the same manuscript to multiple journals simultaneously.
- Redundant Publication: Redundant publication of the same research in more than one journal is strictly forbidden.
- Co-author Contributions: Authorship should be limited to individuals making substantial contributions. Co-authors must be appropriately credited for their significant involvement.
- Approval of Manuscript: Authors must confirm that all co-authors have reviewed and approved the submitted manuscript, including their names as co-authors.
- Protection of Client Information: Inclusion of any personal information that could potentially identify a client, such as descriptions, photos, or genealogy, is strictly prohibited.
- Data Falsification or Manipulation: Authors are obligated to provide the editor with data and work details if suspicions of data falsification or manipulation arise.
- Reporting Errors: If significant errors or inaccuracies are identified in the submitted manuscript, authors must promptly report them to the editor.
- Conflict of Interest Disclosure: Authors are required to disclose potential conflicts of interest, including employment, research fees, consultant fees, and intellectual property, in the Journal's disclosure document.
Authors must carefully review and comply with these guidelines to ensure the ethical and transparent publication of their work in the Journal of Leadership, Management, and Policy in Education.
