Author Guideline
Authors are required to submit their manuscripts online through the journal system, adhering to the terms and conditions outlined in the Style Guide of Mataoleo: Journal of English Education and Linguistics, available for download in the journal template. Writers must comply with the following instructions:
- Authors confirm that the submitted article has not been previously published, and they have not transferred any rights to the article elsewhere.
- Authors must ensure the authenticity of their work and adhere to proper citation practices, avoiding plagiarism or self-plagiarism.
- Adherence to the authorship criteria outlined in Mataoleo: Journal of English Education and Linguistics instructions for authors is essential.
- Authors are prohibited from submitting the same manuscript to multiple journals simultaneously.
- Redundant publication of the same research in more than one journal is not permitted.
- Authorship should be limited to individuals who have significantly contributed to the conception, design, implementation, or interpretation of the reported study.
- Co-authors must be appropriately credited for their significant contributions.
- Authors must ensure that all co-authors have reviewed and approved the submitted version of the manuscript, including their names as co-authors.
- The inclusion of any personal information that could potentially identify a client in the form of descriptions, photos, or genealogy is strictly prohibited.
- Authors are obligated to provide the editor with data and work details if there are suspicions of data falsification or manipulation.
- If significant errors or inaccuracies are identified in the submitted manuscript, authors must promptly report them to the editor.
- Authors are required to disclose potential conflicts of interest, such as employment, research fees, consultant fees, and intellectual property, in the Mataoleo: Journal of English Education and Linguistics disclosure document.
